Hey Dakota Dawg! Hippity-hoppity-happity ampuversary!! (Ask your mom for ice cream . . . That's what I just did for my ampuversary! Believe me - It even beats most of the good stuff you find among the weeds!)
Congratulations, and keep up the health!
- Sweet Silly Sylvie (and her mom)
Sweet Silly Sylvie, the Old English Sheepdog
Diagnosed with osteosarcoma 11/04/2010 at almost 7 years of age * Left hind leg amputated 11/09/2010 * Chemo on 12/10, 12/17, 01/10, 01/31
Sweet Sylvie's earthly journey ended on Nov. 3, 2011, one day short of a year since her diagnosis and 6 days short of her one-year ampuversary. Her family celebrates her life as a sheepdog – ever the puppy, ever silly, ever sweet – and are grateful for our 7 years together.
Once again Hoppy Ampuversary!
Listen D-Dawg, your mom can't complain about a little something edible you found in the yard when your Monkeydog sister Evelyn eats wallboard! Or were you just trying to make your mom feel sorry for you that you had to find your own treats on your special day???
Daisy
Daisy earned her wings on Oct 22, 2011 at 14 years old
She is now the official greeter at the rainbow bridge
Everyone is guaranteed a welcome sniff and Dalmatian smile
Way to go Dakota! Mom's not here to pass out treats in your honor so I sure hope that she calls Dad to let him know the great news! Otherwise, I guess I'll have to go find something good in the weeds (and believe me do we have weeds!)
Ranger
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.
