Hello my tripawd friends,
5 months ago today Caira Sue had her front right leg and shoulder blade removed. Yesterday she was hiking the cliffs with me and my brother-in-law in Pacifica, CA. As I write this she has taken all her rings (she has a set of one, two and three rubber rings) out and placed them in front of my husband. She has chosen the big blue one and is trying to drag Adam off the couch in their game of tug! (I overheard him saying "OMG, Caira! Somehow you have gotten stronger!"
Last week when we had our setback I wasn't even sure she would make it to "5." Ha! Shows how strong this girl's spirit is!
Anyway, it's pouring rain outside and very gloomy to look out the windows, but we are all celebrating here in this household.
Happy Friday everyone!
