We celebrated Bo's 1 Month Ampuversary yesterday! His surgery was on May, 31st, and since some months don't have 31 days, we are just going to celebrate on the 1st of each month.
Bo got a very special package in the mail yesterday. Angel Kaneda's dad sent Bo her Ruffwear harness . Bo was so excited! He was wagging his tail and getting lots of great sniffs. We put the harness on him and we didn't even have to adjust it…perfect fit! We cannot thank Angel Kaneda and Troy enough for their generosity!

Less, than 24 hours in the harness and it has already been a great help. Getting up from the floors and walking up the steps are much easier now that we can properly help him. I feel really confident in the ability to support and control him in it, so I took him out to the Healthy Pet Store this morning. Bo was treated with celebrity status there all morning, eating up all of the extra treats, hugs, and belly scratches. Needless to say, he is in doggie la-la land right now. 😉
We are so proud of our boy and how strong he has been. Happy 1 Month Ampuversary Bo!

Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly  January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman.
