This article was in our paper this morning.  Halfway through the article I discovered that it was about a Tripawd.  Good to see this kind of report showing that Tripawds can and do live great post-amp lives.  Most people who read it would probably have no idea that having only three legs doesn't have to hinder this special dog.  It also shows that the c word doesn't mean the end of his life.

There is also a photo gallery for the article.

I hope the article link posts.  Sometimes I have difficulty getting links for the paper to work.

Kathi and Murphy

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!

UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

Wow...that's a great story!!  Way to go Buster in showing that even Tripawds can help law enforcement and volunteers searching for people that have gone missing.  And to be 12 years old and still doing this amazing work...that's AWESOME!!
