Maggie's mom is Karen (for those that don't know and are new).   We all loved Maggie, our little tripug!  And we all love Karen, too.

Here's Karen's tribute to Maggie (in Cometdog styling):

P.S. A note to admin – as requested by Karen, I'm putting this in 'shout outs' not 'coping with loss' since she wants to celebrate her life.

Her Retired AvatarComet - 1999 to 2011

She departed us unexpectedly  January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.

She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

That was a great movie!  The song sounded like it was from the Dixie Chicks, though I am not familiar with any of their new stuff it was a great song choice!

I loved all the pictures with Barney interspersed among them because it kind of looked like he was a creeper sneaking into the shots with Maggie! For some reason they really cracked me up! I thought it was cute when Maggie was wearing the butterfly wings.  And SO adorable when she was wearing her Ruff Wear harness .  Its like a mini Chloe harness!

A great celebratory movie of her life indeed!!! Maggie is a movie star and Miss April, what a gal!

-Chloe's mom

Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog

Ok, Cometdog, that is the best tribute video I've seen so far from you.  Karen, I LOVED it....and of course, had a really hard time holding back the tears here at work.

From one "Maggie owner" to another "Maggie owner" - many hugs!!!

XOXO

Awww, she was one lucky girl.  You can tell she had a lovely and great life.  So loved!  I especially loved the picture of her grey eyebrows!

Very nice, it reminds me to give my boy plenty of adventures big-blink

We are so happy that we got to meet and spend time with Maggie, Tani and Karen. They were our first exposure to Pugs. Karen took the time to teach us about the finer points of "pugdom." As we saw another Pug waddle by Karen noted that dog had a tail that was a "double looper." Not long after that I told some friends that Pugs with double looper tails are really cool. They were both amazed and jealous of my Pug knowledge. We also learned that they snort and have the heart of a lion

Maggie was also Shelby's friend...and we miss her terribly.

We are so happy that Obie has come into Tani and Karen's lives. Last time we saw them, Tani was pretty pleased to have a new brother!

Watching Maggie's video brought smiles to our faces and tears to our eyes. She fought many, many battles and will always be a hero.

We celebrate Maggie's life with the wonderful memories we have.

Awww, that is so beautiful.  A great celebration of a great life! I love the pictures of Maggie and Tani, so precious.

Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end.  On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

We were also very honored to have met and hung out with Maggie and Karen at a couple Northern California Tripawd parties.  Maggie was a sweet little girl, definitely with the heart of a lion.  A fitting tribute to brave girl.
