Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

No need to apologize. It is a beautiful gesture of support and love (I stole it for my FB update). I am thrilled Trouble has touched so many lives and gives so many folks hope.

Zack lived a full 14 years, even to the end.
The joy and memories he provided us will last a lifetime.
Surviving him is his sister, Izzy, a 12-year-old boxer mix quadpawd.
And the latest addition, Zula, an 11-month-old pit bull mix tripawd.

Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog

It makes us really feel good that you're kickin' osteosarcoma's ugly butt! I read somewhere that there's a website you can go to and order custom made ice cream in ANY flavor. We should see about green bean ice cream and come up with a cool name for it (after Miss T. of course) Watch out Cherry Garcia and Chunky Monkey!

Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

This is so amazing!! 2 years!! Wow! Every month that you post another ampuversary I always find it so amazing and wonderful and here you are at 2 years now!! That is just over the moon amazing and wonderful!! Trouble, you are such an inspawration and have given the rest of us here so much hope that this cancer can once and for all be beat. We are so honored to be here celebrating with you....you go girl!! Our amazing tripawd hero!!
Kami, Mackenzie & Kobe
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Wow - happy 2 YEAR Ampuversary, Trouble! You are our hero!! We are definitely celebrating here in IL today - ice cream, Trouble beans, cheese - pulling out all the stops for you! YAY for Trouble!!!

I just told/ordered the chauffeur that we shall celebrate your joyous day at the local "In and Out Burger" tomorrow. Be ready to feel the good vibes from the left coast at 3PM PST. We shall dine on "Double Doubles" and fries tomorrow. For those of you not in the know, a "Double Double " is 2 patties and 2 pieces of cheese on a bun. They also have 4 by 4's, but I must watch my figure.
Your 2 year ampuversary is another reason to celebrate Thanksgiving! You're our hero and we are so happy for you!

I just received this reply to Trouble's 2 Yr Ampuversary announcement from Dr F. I thought is was one of the kindest expressions and wanted to share with you guys.
Shanna,I am so excited about this anniversary. It is a huge milestone. When Ithink of Trouble I can't help but smile and give thanks. She has such a big
heart and a great spirit. She has touched many lives and serves as a reminder to
us all to fight the battles in our lives with a positive attitude. Throughout
this two year journey, she has shown by example how each of us should live.
Always happy, always kind, and always loving. That is the Trouble I know. That
is the Trouble I give thanks for in my life. May there be many many more years
of this Trouble.
