So so sorry to hear that you had to say goodbye (for now) to that sweet and brave Dee of yours. 
I know it is heartbreaking to let go but please know in your heart that he is now pain free and running and playing in spirit with Jerry and all of our tripawd angel babies at the Bridge. Your baby is safe and has definitely received the most amazing welcome from his tripawd buddies… lots of licks, wags, jumping and playing like crazy in a beautiful and loving place. Lots of warm and healing hugs are being sent to you during this very sad and painful time. Your Tripawd family is always here for you when you are ready.

I'm so sorry, I'm just getting caught up from being out of town for a while. My heart goes out to you as you learn to adjust to life without Dee. May the happy memories carry you through and soon relieve the pain you feel.
