Tucker and I are not new to this community (he had his amputation on September 18, 2013) and we have both benefited from the support and kindness of the many members of this community.
This photo shows my handsome buddy, Tucker, 3 days post amputation still wearing the "cone of shame " but happy to be home in familiar surroundings.
This photo was taken three weeks post-op on October 10, 2013. Stitches out, cone removed and well on his way to recovery

So...for some reason it escaped me that Tucker was a chocolate lab...is this right? He is indeed a handsome devil! What great pictures; thanks for sharing!

Adelaide is a young tripawd Husky, from an injury. Her amp was on 10/1/12. She has 4 sisters, Aissa (a senior border collie/chow), Maggie May (a puppy Great Pyrenees), Mathilde and Morrigan and 1 baby brother, Bagheera. We are all watched over by our angel Brendol, who was dx with OSA 1/30/13, amp on 2/6/13, and left us on 8/20/13.

Kathi and murphy
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Isn't it the best thrill to see our loved ones have their miugs put up in our own tripawd version of Hollwood's Red Carpet! And he is doing a stellar job at showing the world what a hapy tripawd looks like!
I love that he even seems like he's smiling happily with "the" cone!
I'm beaming over here! And so is Happy Hannah....wait..."What Hannah? What did you say?....Oh! I stand corrected....the ' lovely Miss Hannah'!" She reminded me that's what Tuck always calls here. Shhhhhh.....I think she's got a little crush.....she just asked me to tell him she calls him the Charming Mr. Tuck

Luanne and Spirit Shooter
Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.

Franklin, he was the Happiest Dog on Three Legs! Diagnosed 09/26/2012 with Osteosarcoma, amputated 12/4/2012. Had a wonderful 5 1/2 months painfree until he ran for the Bridge on 5/15/2013.
