Sid was a three year old racing greyhound, just doing his job. He liked to be out in front by the first bend or he didn't really try .. until his last race. Bad call, Sid. Down he went at the first bend with a broken hock.
He had a good owner who paid for surgery to mend his hock, but it was completely shattered and the vet could not save his leg. He went home as a tripod, but was never sent back to the kennel block - his trainer took him into her house and we adopted him from there.
Thanks Jay! Do you have a pic of Sid or shall we try to dig one up around here, I'm sure I've seen him around here before.

Of course you can! You may use this picture in any way you like to promote Tripawds.
I only put the copyright notice on the photos I post online because people take them without permission for all kinds of reasons - I've heard of two cases where someone found their greyhound photo being sold on merchandise on eBay for profit, again without permission. However, if you wish to use this one on merchandising for Tripawds - just supposing it's good enough - you may do so. 
Thanks for your approval! Oh yeah, we are also very watchful about getting photos and such taken without permission.
