Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Thank you all. I'm hoping PT has some more suggestions. All we've done there so far is have him jump over pipes. We clearly need more than that to strengthen him and help him gain confidence. I don't want to find a new place, as they also do massage, and I think that helps.
Riot has gone up the porch steps yesterday, and today so far! It's only three stairs, but it's a start. He's done it totally unsupported. I just have to line him up right. He's done this before, but then chemo always knocks him back. With no more chemo, hopefully we can keep progressing.
Yahhh Riot! What a wonderful pupdate, 3 stairs two days in a row is a huge accomplishment!

My sweet soulmate Roane was diagnosed with osteo in June of 2019. Had a rear leg amp on July 2nd & crossed the rainbow bridge to be with her sister Gypsy on the first day of Autumn Sept 23 2019.
Riot had a good first water treadmill therapy appointment. We're hoping this will be the key to strengthening his remaining back leg.
Awwww, aich a good voy❤ I love the little look je hace. Don't know of it was ronyojnor to the other person. I think his thought bubble was along rhe lines of, "Hey! Pay attention to me and quit jabbering. I'm ready to get dry now and get a nice soothing massage."😎

Riot is getting such fantastic rehab therapy. I'll bet that in he will be an even stronger swimmer than before. Water treadmills are such a great workout!

Oh my dog HOW did I miss that news? That is huuuuuuuuge! Did you have to bribe him at all? Or did he just do it once you pointed him in the right direction?

Thank you! You've been busy. He just did it. I backed him up a bit, and he just hopped up. Unfortunately it's been raining for several days, and he's refused to make an attempt since. But he barely needs any support. I just put my hand under his belly on his amputation side, and up he goes. He'll be getting a lot more practice, as he's been cleared to go up and down them several times in a row with his harness. We're really hoping the treadmill therapy helps. We'll be trying again on Saturday.
