Thank you. all. To add to the good news, he took the longest walk he's been on since the amputation. Again, I had to hear about it second hand, but it's still great news. He's done so much better rebounding from this previous round of chemo. He finally had some reserves, as he was finally eating. I forgot to mention. He's eaten dinner the last three days with no Entyce! I'm hoping we can keep this going until the last chemo round. I'm sure we'll backslide a bit there.
Hoppy Birthday Riot. Glad to see that he is doing better. Our Maggie did not lose her leg due to cancer and she has been a TRIPAW for about 1 1/2 yrs now. She has good days walking and days where her heart isn't in to walking. We let her take it easy and try later on. That seems to work Patience is certainly a virtue since the last thing we want to do is over stress her remaining front leg. We gave up, or rather ran out of squeaky toys, because all she does is tear them up within the first 5 minutes. She does like this chew bone we got her. She is certainly spoiled and we would not have it any other way.
Here's to a continued recovery for Riot. He is a good looking boy.

I think perhaps the change of seasons is having a big impact on Riot. Maybe? Who knows, but I'm just thrilled he has perked up so much. YEAH!

Yep. Riot dictates how long we walk. I make sure he gets pushed, but never hard. Regular squeaky toys don't survive him either.
I'm sure the Fall weather is helping some. It's still pretty hot, but not humid anymore . Him eating is a big help as well. Although he didn't eat anything tonight. If he doesn't eat in the morning, he has to go back on Entyce.
just catching up a bit. Riot you are absolutely wonderful, the sofa and a walk! yaaaaah buddy! I'm so happy to hear hes doing well, i think the cooler fall weather helps with a walk when you have that big beautiful winter coat. If it was even remotely warm out i was out of luck with a walk. suddenly i was just the silly human dragging a dog down the road lol
You keep eating that yummy food big guy

My sweet soulmate Roane was diagnosed with osteo in June of 2019. Had a rear leg amp on July 2nd & crossed the rainbow bridge to be with her sister Gypsy on the first day of Autumn Sept 23 2019.
Good boy Riot!!!! Yeah, I agree with Bev (), hold out for the really yummy stuff!
I love that Riot does things his way and at his own pace.
Dave, good to hear from you and to know how well Maggie is doing. Ues, patience is sich a good thing on this joirney.

Hi, Bev. Thanks for checking in. I hope you're holding up as well as you can be. Yes, he's certainly fuzzy. I've brushed a full Corgi out of him over the last week or so. It's usually a sign we're in for a very cold winter when he started growing it in thick already. My younger dog is even worse in the heat. He just lays down and waits to get picked up on the way back.
Yep. Riot has done everything in his own time. He did eventually eat dinner last night. He much preferred the treats that he got with his pain med. That's four days of eating in a row with no meds making him. I'm really hoping I can keep this going until his last chemo.
