Hi everyone!

I created a video of Ollie’s journey - “From Quad-pawd to Tri-pawd - Ollie’s Journey through Life, Cancer and Limb-loss".  I can’t figure out how to embed it here, so I figured I’d  just share the youtube link in case anyone is interested in checking it out.

I would also love for this to be on the Tri-pawd Youtube channel!

Hope you enjoy!big-grin

That is a lovely tribute to Ollie-- he certainly is a lucky guy to have you, and I hope we'll see a lot more of Ollie in the future.  The water treadmill was very cool-- keep up the good work Ollie!!!!!

Scout: January 31, 2002 to November 7, 2011

Scout's diagnosis was "poorly differentiated sarcoma"; amputation 1/11/2011.  Scout enjoyed 9 fantastic years on 4 legs and 9 glorious months on 3 legs.  If love alone could have saved you…

A friend indeed! Well done!!!! Of course we added it to the Tripawds Playlist. Talk about inspawrational.

Ollie, will you teach the Bang! Bang! trick to us? That's pretty cool. You know you remind me so much of my best friend Winston. He also loves to eat, one time he ate a bag of flour just because it was there! He also ate a few couches too because his separation anxiety was so bad! Now he's an old man and a little mellower.

Your Momma's video is just pawesome, I love the detail and how it shows the whole process in dealing with fibrosarcoma from beginning to end. Paws up for sharing this with the world.

To add videos all you need to do is paste the URL in your post and it should show up. Good job!

Totally pawesome video! Two dew claws up! I laughed, I cried!

Love the treadmill shots. You look very handsome in your Tripawds bandana , Ollie!

Jackie, Angel Abby's mom

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!

Really cute, nice job. I'm sure this will help so many people struggling with the amputation decision. Just fantastic. Ollie and Rusty have great parents!

Awww, thanks everyone!  We’re so lucky to have Ollie (and Rusty!) It’s been quite an experience, but I’ve learned a lot (especially from tripawds.com!) and am so grateful that we still have Ollie and that he’s doing so well!  It’s actually my profession to support humans (kids and their parents) through the amputation process (I work in a pediatric orthopedic hospital) but it’s sooo different with a dog!  None of my skills really applied!  I couldn’t explain it to him or prepare him in any way, but like you saw in the video, he totally knew! 🙂 Dogs are amazing like that.

Thanks all for the great feedback and support!

You have done a great job on the video and taking care of Ollie 🙂  He sure is beautiful and he looks like he loves his life with you.  We look forward to many more of his adventures and hope for a wonderfully long life for him, cancer free of course!
