I'm happy the surgery went well for Emma - I know it is so hard to wait for that call. I'm sure she will surprise you with how quickly she recovers and starts hopping around with little difficulty. My big boy, Neiman, was about 15 pounds overweight at the time of his surgery, March 21, and thanks to his new grain-free diet and the extra energy it takes to hop around, he is quickly slimming down. We are using Honest Kitchen's "Preference," to which I add home-cooked chicken. We are feeling the pinch in our grocery budget, but Neiman's snuggles more than make up for it! Good luck on your journey as parent to a tripawd!
