I'm so glad you are checking in with us. I was just responding to a forum question about giving an indoor cat vaccinations and I thought of you and here you are! My kitty Mona also lost her leg due to a vaccine injection but we were lucky that she was able to heal well. Unfortunately with vaccine injections it just comes down to luck.
I remember that you did everything you could for Brandy and it was such a difficult time helping her to recover. It's too bad that the photos have disappeared but I can see a cute little tabbie (I think a tabbie) with your lovely smiling face. I hope the vaccine company paid for all of your expenses, although I know it doesn't cover the stress and emotional pain.
How are you doing a year later. Do you happen to have 4 little legs running around?
It's good to know that Brandy still feels her presence known.

And the company who made her vaccine reimbursed me for her surgery that happened in March of 2016 and then they paid for her amputation (October 25th, 2016), her vets visits, her meds, her cremation, and her urn.

And I do have four 4 legged children running around! ♡ 🙂 🐶💙 🐶💙 🐶❤ 🐶❤
We still have our boys, Ajax (a German Shepherd/Pit Bull mix) and Zeko (a German Shepherd/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix). And on July 13th, 2017, we brought home Ajax's mom (Ariel (a German Shepherd mix)) and sister (Mini (a German Shepherd/Pit Bull mix)) home.
The girls were my husband's shop dogs, but his company moved and they couldn't have the dogs at his new shop, so they came home. 🙂

The "firsts" are hard so I'm really glad you came back here. We all feel in love with Brandy and we all were in awe of your bo d and your dedication.
We celebrate with you a life well loved. She was such a joyouse kitty who clearly adored you...and knew you adored her
