Oh no, no, no! Erases any wasted energy on guilt right now!! YOU and your husband could not be a better advocate for Midnight! We do things in the best interest of pur furbabies based on the information we have at the time from the professionals!! If you spend energy on guilt feelings, that takes away from focusing o. Midnight...and THAT would be letting Midnight down!' You do have control over switching yojr focus to continuing to spoil a d love that sweet kitty! 🙂
Mh goodness gracious, this is a very lpved kitty and so luckq to have you and your husband as his humans!!
Stay connected. We understand!
Hugs a d love!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
I agree, what a lucky boy to have humans who care so much! It is absolutely not your fault. VAS seems to be generally considered rare by vets (although being here, it doesn't seem so) and is not something I had even heard of before October. Everything you have done in the past few weeks, as well as the amputation, is take the best possible steps TO keep him safe and to give him a chance at continuing his happy, loved, life.Â
There is no blame to be laid. It's just the brutal nature of life that loving something dearly puts it in a position to hurt us deeply and we wish we had control over these things...bur we don't. They just happen, sometimes against all the best odds. The pain and worry doesn't make the love and joy less worthwhile for yourself or your little one. And before you know it, the painful and worrisome part will be over for all of you.Â
Hang in there. We're all thinking of you!
