Welcome to Tripawds.
I love that you call Popple your tri-pom. I have called Maggie my tri-pug since shortly after her amp.
And he may be one of the smallest tripawds. My Maggie is about 15 lbs (should be 17, but she has some other health issues). How big is Popple?

I think he may be one of the littlest. Popple is only 7 pounds now!
Pops is doing fantastic. We just took some follow up xrays of his neck, and he definitely has a fractured voice box. We still have swelling inside the throat, so what we thought was a collapsing trachea, may just be a cough from the continued swelling.
Pops also had a major accomplishment this week....he finally figured out his balance enough to raise his leg to pee! Hilarious!!!!
Oh Pops, if you can figure out how to raise your leg, will you show us in a video? That's just something that I never figured out and I know lots of other Tripawds don't get it either. If you've got that down, you've got it MADE! Very cool!

Coming into this thread late! What a cutie! And you, my dear, are an angel taking Popple and fixing him up! Poor dude!!!! Sometimes i wonder what is wrong with so called humans. WTH!?!??!

Way to go Pops! My Maggie is a rear amp, and of course female, so she has been able to pee appropriately. Balancing enough to pee like a boy- that is awesome!
We really, really, really need to see video.
7 pounds- he is pretty little, but obviously a giant sized heart!
I hope he continues to heal uneventfully.

I just wanted to join in and say what a cutie Poppie is. I just want to scoop him up and hug him! Just a little warning though. Be careful with Poppie jumping off the couch. His little legs are just like tooth picks how it is and he sure can't afford a broken leg.

Good to hear that Popple is doing welll. My Wolfie is a MinPin who lost his front right leg to a dog bite early this past April. He was always very agile and expedient in his endeavors but now uses whatever he is peeing on as support or simply does it like a female because it's faster than trying to balance.
It is very helpful that we can pick up our dogs and carry them when needed.
My husband came up with this today: "All dogs have three legs, although most have one extra."

Well said! (See Jerry's quote in my signature.)

Hey Wolfie, I've met a mini pin front leg amputee at one of my local dog parks! I would have though he could have been you, except I know his name is Louie. We're having a tripawd pawty at that very park tomorrow. I never got the chance to tell his owners about it, but they may have heard elsewhere. Maybe I'll see him there.
You rock, Popple. My Yoda was a front legger and he could pee like a boy, lifting either leg. I was oh so proud. Gerry is a rear leg amputee and tries his darnest, but can't seem to lift his leg, haha. He just sort of pulls it as far back as he can and twists his body a bit.
Gerry has been a tripawd since 12/16/2009.
He was a shelter dog with a mysterious past and an irrepairable knee injury.
Videos and pics of Gerry's pawesomeness can be found at: http://gerry.tripawds.com
