thanks everyone for saying happy ampuversary to my desi girl i have a question how do try to get the confidence back in a dog when they try to jump on a couch but cant quiet get up and end up sliding back down on their bum? should i try a step maybe? ideas anyone?

Bless her little determined heart!!
D 't know how she'd react to you helping her with a sling or harness. They. make various ramps size ramps also. If she can g up stairs, she should be able to handle one of those portable steps too. Or maybe just a pallet type thing that you could cover top off with a piece of plywood and cover with a piece of carpet.
That's it for my 2¢ worth!
My oldest dog has trained me so that when he sits down by the chair and looks at me, that's my que to go over and lift him up onto his chair!
Sounds like Destiny is doing great and I know is ejoyig all the loving! This k it's time for pictures!!!

thanks sally for the advice desi kinda does the same thing sits there at looks at me if she cant be bothered to try to jump up i gotta lift her up on the couch see my girl is spoilt yes pics soon i promise ive been busy im sorry with work and goin back to school again

I think a series of steps can help get her back up there, but you'll need to train her to use them. You can go buy a large foot stool too, that might help.

Love always hearing from Destiny! Was she slow I g down cuz she didn't wat to go in or just because she was a tired little up??! They seem to forget that, no matter how good they feel walking to their "turns around" point----they still have to save some energy for the walk home:-)

she was that tired halfway home she used up most of her energy walkin just to the shop cos she was so excited lol she loves walks yes i will put up pics soon ive been that busy work wedding to orgainse and school as well desi is snoring next to me as i write this
