The surgery is major to begin with and hers seems to be even "extra major". I'm sure they'll send her home with ample pain meds though.
Try and get some good rest tonight. Some dogs stay pretty loopy and sleepy when they come home. Some, like my beloved Happy Hannah, stay up for ni teen hiurs straight crying and whining!
But itsq all worth it once the recovery takes place and their sparkle comes back! Your kids will forget all about the surgery and just get on with loving on her like always!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
