Well I will have to make this short since I will start blubbering again. The date for Jersey Mays journey over the rainbow bridge is Thursday 8am. Her other dad (thanks to all you poss. thoughts) will be here tomorrow (tues) and will be able to spend a day 1/2 with her. I just had to put my cat down last Thurs. that we have had for 16yrs.I am still upset over that. On the poss. side I am lucky to have a vet that will come to my house to help Jersey May along on her journey so she wont be so scared at the vet for her last few. I know its the right time and the right thing to do but still cant help feeling guilty for having to decide when she should move on. Guess its a natural feeling. I did make a concret tile with her paw prints and date on it for her and one for her brother.

Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog

I am sorry you have had to make this decision. It is never an easy one, and one none of us take lightly. I am relieved that you and Jersey May's other dad will have some time to spend with her together. I'm sorry about your cat, this is just really bad timing for you and I feel badly for you. Spend the next couple of days making memories to last you a lifetime.

What a blessing you can all be together at this difficult time. It's got to be the hardest decision in the world, yet ironically, it's the kindest too. So weird.
We are so sorry you are at this point in the journey (and twice in one week is just heartbreaking). All of us are here, thinking of you and sending our love and hugs your way. If you want to talk, we are here OK?

One loss and another heartbreak coming. Oh my.
I am utterly sorry to hear about this, Mr. Red and Jon. This cannot be easy; I know it can't. But I'm glad of Jersey May's dads will be there to say goodbye to Jersey May. Releasing her is an absolutely unselfish act of love.

She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

Also having recently gone through this, our hearts are aching for you. We're relieved to read that both dads will be there. So very sorry to hear of the loss of your cat, too. When it rains, it pours. Sending you all a big hug. We are all here to support you.

I'm so glad that Jersey May will get to spend some time with both dads before she passes on. That's a blessing. The choices you have had to make are not easy but they show the love and compassion you have for both Jersey May and your kitty.
