To the wonderful tripawd community,

I wanted to share my tripawd dog story with you.  Please read Lola's journey from cancer patient to three-legged survivor. It was published this week on:

http://blog.pet.....aced-life/  and also on

http://www.mili.....-life.html

When we learned she had cancer, we came to tripawds.com to learn as much as we could about life as a tripawd.  You and your pets are all amazing. Your inspiring stories gave us the strength and positive attitude we needed to help Lola - and help ourselves - get through her surgery and chemo.  I hope the story I wrote on the Pets for Patriots blog will also inspire you.

- Susan

Susan thank you sooo much for sharing your story with us, it's nice to meet you and Lola. We understand exactly what your pack has gone through, and salute you and Lola for the great work you're doing with Pets for Patriots.

By the way did you know we have a Northern California meet-up every few months? I know that crew would love to meet up with you, they usually get together in Mill Valley. Keep an eye on "Tripawds Parties" discussion for the next pawty date announcement. Hope to see you there!

Don't be a stranger, we'd love to keep hearing about your adventures. Oh and your future posts won't require approval.

You did a splendid job of talking about Lola and her journey so far! Touching and I nspirational!

And she M is a BEAUTIFUL girl! Just looks SOOOOOOO sweet and gentle.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE what your Aunt said regarding the contract we make with our dogs and how, even after her losses, she is "more grateful than sad". Thank you for sharing that. Very nice.

Sending you the very best wishes for a continued life of love and happiness with your Lola!! And yes, I hope you do stay connected here, it's a wonderful extended family who can understand this journey like no others can.

Hugs to you and Sweet Lola!

Sally and Happy Hannah

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

You really captured the experience in your words. It took me right back to when I went through it with my Jake! Its always us that carry the fear and the worry, our pups just keep on living 🙂

What a beautiful girl she is and just like all our Tripawd warriors, very courageous......your beautifully written story brings back such vivid memories of my own precious Tripawd girl, Polly, during her brave battle. We all travel very similar roads in this journey, with the ultimate goal to achieve.....beating this ugly "c" as long as possible.

Hoping your sweet girl keeps going strong and you and her enjoy life everyday to the fullest .....keep us all updated on her.....

Best wishes,
Bonnie & Angel Polly

Thank you Bonnie and Angel Polly. It's not an easy road but it's comforting to have others who've also gone down the same road offer support and love.
