Today, we celebrated Grovers last (5th) dose of carboplatin and he had another met check.
I was not sure whether to cry or jump for joy but .... he is still free of visible lung tumors AND his rib metastasis is static/no larger and if anything less aggressive looking on radiographs.
We couldn't have asked for a better outcome today. His oncologist commented that "he's doing so well getting around that he's stronger than a lot of her patients on 4 legs".
Today, is a good day. And although Grover may not understand the meaning of "good met check" and "last dose of chemo" I think he found joy in his double quarter pounder from McDonalds. 🙂 Today was a day to celebrate and breath a small sigh of relief.

My sweet soulmate Roane was diagnosed with osteo in June of 2019. Had a rear leg amp on July 2nd & crossed the rainbow bridge to be with her sister Gypsy on the first day of Autumn Sept 23 2019.
