Hi everybody,  I just wanted to share some good news for a change.  I took Zoe back to Perdue for her first set of xrays and ultrasounds since chemo started.  I was bracing myself for bad news, I'm not sure whether its due to what everyone else on here has been dealing with, or that everytime I have gotten my hopes up since the diagnosis I have gotten bad news.  Zoe is about 10 years old, she had a huge mast cell tumor that pretty much ran thru her entire leg, prior to amputation they didn't realize how large it was and didn't think it had spread.  Post amp. they found a large lymph node in her chest and then another rectal mass.  They changed the grading of the tumor from 2 to 3.  3 is bad news so I guess you can understand why I may have been a little negative.  Thursday when I took her back, the chemo had shrunk the lymph node to normal size, the rectal mass hadn't changed ( they think it may be scar tissue from when she was spayed) and no mets on liver, spleen etc. I know its not a cure but maybe it will keep it under control, so she can hop this earth for awhile.   

I almost feel guilty for posting this because there are so many that are having hard times, but I guess what I wanted to say is keep the faith.  I will always be overly concerned about every low energy day, but I guess the moral to the story is try to stay positive until you have proof that you shouldn't be.
