Just a little note to say that Caira Sue has passed the 4 month mark since her amputation and she's still doing awesome. Ok, so we heard rumor of a tiny met in her lung--but we aren't letting it slow us down. She hasn't noticed a thing. We keep living it up day by day. Thanks everyone for being out there as a great support!

Yay, that's wonderful 4 months, its wonderful she is so happy and so feeling good. Tasha says keep it up.
Tasha 8 years old, First cancer diagnosis 6/26/09, Last cancer diagnosis 9/26/09, Amputation 10/01/09, Loving our girl moment by moment.
Tasha lost her battle and became my Angel on May 4 2011. Forever in my heart….

Debra & Emily, a five year old doberman mix, who was diagnosed with an osteosaecoma. She had a right rear leg amputation on May 19, 2009. On November 10, 2009 she earned her wings and regained her fourth leg.

That cheering you hear from just over the Dublin Grade is our entire family celebrating. Each and every day is very special, but reaching such a wonder milestone as 4 months is worthy of an extra special celebration. So we will be toasting tonight, having special meals, extra hugs, and for Cherry a ride in the truck (we all know that for her that is the best celebration) all in our jubilation that our warrior/clown Caira Sue has reached another great ampuversary. One thing though - KEEP ON ROCKING!!!

Congratulations. While the one year club celebrates their many upcoming anniversaries, we can form the four month club (I hit the mark later this week - Nov 15). But I was sure you came on board after me. Are you truly a four-monther? Did your amp precede your arrival at tripawds? Apparently the human memory starts to wane when the dog has cancer.
In any case, let's live it up this week!
