It has been far too long since i logged in. I couldn't cope for a while seeing stories of dogs i loved and took inspiration from being taken by the cancer it brought it home even more that Dizzy was on borrowed time. But you know what she is still here she is still happy still bossing the foster dog around and generally being Dizzy. It's hard because it's been 17 months since diagnosis and amputation i still don't take that for granted and i still worry. For anyone just starting out on this journey sometimes it's tough but these dogs are amazing. I will try and read some new stories and see if i can remember how to do pictures i always forget. But from me and Dizzy thanks for being here

17 months-- wow!!!! Dizzy, you are an inspiration to those just starting down this crazy road. It's funny, you become so attached to the dogs you "meet" here. It's amazing my computer has not short-circuited with all the tears cried over it. Good to hear you are doing so well.
Scout: January 31, 2002 to November 7, 2011
Scout's diagnosis was "poorly differentiated sarcoma"; amputation 1/11/2011. Scout enjoyed 9 fantastic years on 4 legs and 9 glorious months on 3 legs. If love alone could have saved you…
I think because we are all given the 'statistics', we are apprehensive in that 12 - 14 month window. I vividly remember the day I realized I was no longer afraid Trouble would lose her battle with cancer. Those of us who are fortunate enough to have a long(er) journey have to find a way to get past that fear.
So glad to hear you and Dizzy are doing great. 17 months is a wonderful achievement. Hoping you have many more.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
It's go great to hear from you two! Congratulations on a pawesome milestone of an ampuversary Dizzy, you are simply amazing. Yipee!
Folks who have dealt with cancer know how hard it is to hear about a fellow Tripawd warrior earning their wings. It really hits home especially if you have a dog undergoing a cancer battle, so please don't feel badly about being away for so long. We're just happy you came back to share that great news with us.
As for posting photos, here is a link on adding images to your post. I hope we get to see some!
