Beamer had his 1st chemo and staples removed yesterday. He was amazing!
He hopped right into the Vet like he owned the place. For the 1st time since surgery he jumped up on the counter and on the tech to give her some big sloppy kisses. Each day another bit of his silliness returns. Sniffing around the yard, running down steps and licking everything in sight. So far everything is great following chemo. Fingers crossed! He is still clumsy in his hips but they do not seem painful. Thanks for all the tips you guys offered we are definitely looking into some of those suggestions.

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman.
