Zoey was 4 years old when she was in a freak accident in our fenced backyard. Her right front leg was broken. After 7 screws, a plate, and 8 weeks in a cast, the leg never healed. Amputation was done 1/8/2015. Caring for her has been one of the hardest things I have ever done. But day by day I see pieces of her sparkle coming back:)
