Our 4 1/2 year old pitbull-mix, Shawna lost her right hind leg 8/28/09. She had a very bad accident on our farm, and we are very sad for her that she had to lose the leg. However, we are happy that she will be ok and look forward to learning more on how to care for her in the very best way possible. She is such a sweet dog, and I really hope that this accident doesn't affect her spirit.
