4dogs14paws would be a more appropriate handle now. 2 of my 4 pups are tripawds. I have a rear limb tripawd black lab mix named Haiku (3 lined poem for a 3 legged dog),and a forelimb tripawd greyhound named Cassie/Hopalong Cassidy. They hop through life with their quadruped siblings Kimba and Willow. Haiku's amputation is due to being hit by a car, and Cassie's is due to a malunion of a fracture she had as a small puppy. I adopted/started fostering them 3 months (Haiku) and 3 days (Cassie) post amputation, and made Cassie's adoption official not too long ago - she's here to stay!
