I am an animal lover and excited about getting my first tripawd! I also lost my leg (a very long time ago) at age 14, to bone cancer. I recently retired from teaching elementary school, and I plan to now give back by helping mentor newer amputees. I'd like to find a tripawd to help spread joy and show that life does go on. I may also write books about our adventures together! I have two grown children. I also have two friendly cats and I am looking forward to adding a tripawd to our little family!
