Mama to a 6 1/2 year old Rott/Great Dane mix Tasha. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma 3/17/08 with right front leg amputation on 3/22/08. Chemo(Carboplatin/Doxorubicin) to begin April 30. I also have an 8 year old Boston Terrier female, Raven, who thinks she is the "Mom" of the pack. I am 48 and on disability from lupus. I live in a small town in Missouri. Besides wanting info on Tasha's condition, I am wondering about the dogs who get left behind. How do they react and need advice on this also.
