Have a 7 yr old female Great Dane named Kaity who was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on 6/22/13. She had her front left leg amputated on 7/19/13. She currently has no mets to the lungs. She is part of the "Novel Virus Based Anti-Tumor Treatment for Canine Osteosarcoma" research trial through Auburn Veterinary School. She received her virus treatment on 7/23/13. She will also receive 4 chemo treatments over the next 4 months. We are hoping that her inclusion in the trial will not only help her, but will hopefully help many canines in the future! Dr. Bruce Smith has space for more dogs in the trial.
