Sasha was diagnosed with OSA on March 6, 2012. She had her front right arm amputated on March 14, 2012. Sasha went though 4 carboplatin chemo treatments and last week, on Tuesday, August 21, 2012, she received the last vaccine from The Mason Bone Cancer Study.
Sasha is doing wonderful! We have high hopes that she will be with us for a very long time. If the vaccine works, it will be a big breakthrough in medicine for dogs and humans a like.
