I have three Shiba inus, one of whom is a tripawd. Hoshi was a breeder at a puppy mill until she was attacked by another dog and lost a front leg. I adopted her from A Soft Place To Land rescue. I also foster dogs for Shiba Scout Rescue. We live in northern Colorado.
