Hey I.m Rooster .I am a Great Pyrenees -Mareema cross Im five years old and was born in the Illinois Valley of southern Oregon. Im now living in the badlands of the Cuyama valley in California. I am a trained and registered service dog for my pet human who has been confined to a wheelchair for 26 years. This month (Dec.) i was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma which is a rapid growing bone cancer ,but given that it was caught early they were able to stave off the effects by amputating my right front leg,now im hop-walking a bit and getting stronger every day . Next in line is a bit of chemo and they say my chances of living for a few years after that look promising . So here goes the adventure.
