Hi everyone,
My lovely 10.5 year old female Doberman, recently was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right front leg. I am joining this group to help cope with this and to get any advice to make her as comfortable and happy as possible. Her leg will eventually amputated but I am unsure if I will be moving forward with chemotherapy.
Shelby is a beautiful and energetic girl. Even as a 10.5 year old pup she hasn’t slowed down much in her age, I like to think it’s her beagle sister that keeps her young. I have had Shelby since she was 9 months old, she has been with me since I was 23 yrs old and was my first pup I cared for all on my own. She has been through so much with me and has a big support in my life. I want to do what ever I can for her.
