We met our dog Venga while vacationing in Costa Rica. We was a stray who frequented our airbnb. We all fell in love with each other and felt like family. When we returned home to Canada, we started the process of adoption by reaching out to a local vet and rescue organization in Costa Rica. We have been together now for 5 years. Venga has been battling cancer in his leg (spindle cell sarcoma) for the last 2+ years. We are about to embark on an amputation and are preparing for the change and transition to his being a Tripawd.
