I am the proud owner of an Irish Wolfhound who is almost 5. She was just diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her rear right leg. I am looking into amputation of the leg and and chemo but am worried due to to her weight if it would be an issue getting around with three legs. Her prognosis is only 1-2 years with surgery or 1 month without treatment.
