Owner of two tripawds! One is a chihuahua born without a front leg who I adopted from a rural shelter. The other is a retired racer who had a full back leg amputation after a bad break in his last race - I was his foster so we did a (particularly hard) surgical recovery together. I’ve had a lot of medical experiences with each dog, learned a lot about helping them manage new terrain, and these days we all hike together.
