I'm a musician/educator/mentor who has always had dogs in my life. I recently adopted a 3-legged street dog from Morocco named Bennie. She is missing her front left leg. I have no experience with a tri-pawd, let alone a 4-year old street dog - but - I'm pretty sure she has more to teach than I do her. Especially around resilience, adaptability and patience. I'm beyond grateful to find this community to help me learn!
