We adopted Riley on September 18, 2001 and from best guess she was 6-9 months old…..
Riley was originally diagnosed with arthritis in her left front shoulder in July 2010 and it wasn't until she broke leg on Dec. 7, 2010 that Osteosarcoma was confirmed and her leg was amputated on Jan. 27, 2011.
Riley gained her wings on August 17, 2011
No one knows what the future holds so live each day to the fullest and make each day better than it was the day before. Fill it with belly scratches, licky kisses, long walks, balls and sticks, whatever it may be to create a lifetime of wonderful memories.
