I have 3 Boston Terriers, all of them rescues. My youngest, Robyn, is my 3-legged one. Her mom bit off part of her leg when she was cleaning her up after she was born. I have to say, Thank goodness she only has 3 legs. Otherwise I would never be able to catch her!! It always amazes me how animals adapt to their handicaps, I use this term loosely. We say "oh how sad, she is missing a leg" they say "so what? I have 3 more". I have also had a blind dog in the past and it was the same with her, she was amazing! I work in Vet's office so I see this type of thing all the time. I am especially drawn to the "special" babies that come in. They always inspire me with their determination and spunk!
