My fur baby Jake is a 10yr old blue weim who was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma of the left proximal humerus in April 2020. His oncologist and I worked together and decided to proceed with radiation and chemo prior to amputation because his tumor was very small. Unfortunately despite our best efforts his disease progressed into the muscle of his left shoulder and the decision was made to amputate last week. His surgery was 10/16/20, he stayed overnight at the hospital and we are now on post op day 3. I've been reading the blogs and forums here on this site since his diagnosis but now more than ever since his surgery as I'm scared & having the what did I do feelings. He's doing great so far and I'm so grateful for the support I've seen on this site.
