brand new mom to a 10 y/o black lab tripawd!! 🐶💕
Sadie was playing at the dog park when she was hit (accidentally) pretty hard by another pup. Long story short she broke her leg. We rushed her to ER & got the awful news that indeed her leg was broken but, also she had OSA.
We were faced with two options..amputation or euthanization. After looking at chest X-rays, her lungs showed no signs of any growths, spots or tumors.
We knew it wasn't our girls time, and made the decision to amputate the next morning.
Her surgery went well & our vet said she's a strong girl (which we totally knew!).
Sadie has been home with us now for 3 days post op and things just keep getting better and better. No regrets.
