Born in 1953 in MI. My first career was as an aircraft Mechanic. Worked for McDonnell Douglas in CA for awhile then went to work for Eastern Airlines in FL. When president Reagan fired the air traffic controllers for striking I lost the FL job, laid off. At that time the mortgage rate on my home was 16 1/2%. I moved back to MI and got into construction, eventually getting a residential builders lic. For the last 30 years I pretty much concentrated on finish carpentry and custom kitchen installations. Anyway I am contemplating retiring early to care for Charlie. Charlie is actually my sons dog, he is in the army, currently in Kuwait.
