I am person to my tripawd dog, Dannan. He came to me as a foster dog from the SPCA, just prior to his amputation. He needed to be out of the shelter while waiting for his operation, and also for his time of recovery, and I stepped up to offer him a foster placement. Of course, once I got to know him, there was no chance he was ever leaving! :)
Dannan has his own blog, which we don't update often enough. His amputation is on his left front, and he stuns people who see him running when they discover that he only has three legs (which they only notice once he's stopped running!)
We live in Kamloops, BC, Canada.
