For several years now our pets have all been "rescue" cases, starting with Sammie, a beagle pup. Then came Cooper, also a beagle pup. Followed by Mollie an older beagle. Then we heard that Mollie had a litter (beagle mix) that had all found homes except for Maggie. Maggie was missing the end of her tail and most of her left front paw (which required constant attention at the time). We knew they would not be likely to find a home for her, and we just couldn't not take her in. Maggie is our tripawd and the queen of the pack (and our hearts). We recently added Lady, a young German shepherd stray who was slated to be put down. When I saw a tripawd bumper sticker this Saturday I made a point of checking out the website, with Maggie in mind. Perhaps not the same as most of your subscribers, but if there is anything I can learn that will make life better for Maggie...
