Knowledge is power! Glad you feel better about everything after talking with the vets.Â

As far as visitors- I think that really helped Maggie perk up on some of her down days. At least it gave her someone else to look at besides me .

Sounds like you have lots of reading and decorating to do... get busy!!

glad to hear you've sorted through everything. It's of course a very emotional time, but I can tell you that it was the right choice for us and I'm so happy we went ahead with the surgery. Kess is the same sweet dog she always was, she just hops around on three legs now instead of four. We didn't have to go through chemo so her recovery was a little easier than some, but she's back at full speed and didn't miss a beat. Here's a video celebrating her 1 year ampuversary
Wow! Awesome! Thanks so much! I'm so happy for Kess's recovery! What an amazing Border Collie! I just love her spirit, and that look she has with the cat is the exact look happy gets 🙂 So intense she could care less about the dragon on her head..lol.Happy's mom is a BC(she works at a farm), and his dad is a golden/shepherd/possibly wolf mix. So he's bigger than a pure bred BC. I need to help him lose about 5 -10 lbs(it's hard!) He loves to play frisbee, ball, and of course swim. In fact, his favorite thing to do it swim for the ball or frisbee. I never have trained him in agility, but he is agile, super fast, and can jump! Right now he'd settle for a walk around the block(we have been healing torn ligaments, not knowing he had cancer until last week). Thank you for sharing with me-I'm so inspired by her, and so many stories here.Â
OMD Happy, you should see Kess sky after the frisbees!!! My momma almost cried when we wuz watching Kess and her friends at the recent 2 Million Dogs Puppy Up walk. You can't even tell she's a three-legger. Totally inspawrational!!!
