She pood by herself within 24 hours of the surgery. She is doing great. Got a nerve blocker pain killer though yesterday as she wasn't settling at night. And yup massaging her good hip already. Trying to encourage her to roll on back but she is still protective of her rump- we decided it's called her rump! She is doing really super and is sorta sitting on her butt but won't lie on it but she is getting better every day ...aahhh
My beautiful Bruce had his right hind leg amputated on Aug 31, 2016, and it took quite a bit of time for him to even try to lay on that side, now he lies on that side more than the other and he even puts his weight on that side when sitting. Glad to here that your sweet pup is doing so well

Osteo and amputation in Dec 2015. Second, inoperable, primary osteosarcoma found in June 2017.
The end of our adventures came Dec 10, 2017. 2 years to the day.
