Awww that really is good news considering what it could have been. Any idea how it might have happened?
Heal up Finn, you've got lots of pawtying to do this season!!!
Great photo
The only thing I can think of, is the first time he started limping was after a huge case of the zoomies outside with Domino. His vet is wondering if he may have bumped it on something or slammed his front legs down hard while running/jumping. I don't recall him ever yelping or injuring it. But as hard as he plays there's no telling. If it is still prominent on his rads in January, we'll go to UVS for a possible consult and MRI. For now, lots of rest He got one of his Christmas presents early today in the form of a giant orthopedic bed
, so he's very comfy at the moment.

Domino had his left front leg amputate on May 13th 2014 after being hit by a car. He's now living a happy healthy life on three legs :)
Merry Myrtle and I are .packing our PJs and wanna come over for a sleepover! That bed looks soooo comfy! Clearly Finn is loving it! Your other doggy looks like a miniature stuffed toy next to humongous Finn!!
At least you can all rest easy now!

Cassie, I just caught up on Finn's story, and held my breath for the latest. And am so happy for all of you. Those big kids can sure play hard! We now have an 8-year old GSD who's also come up lame a few times. With Angel Roxie's cancer always in the back of my mind I had Abby xrayed from head to toe just this week. A little dysplasia, a little arthritis, (she IS a shepherd, after all) but nothing else looming. None of it is inexpensive, but it's worth every penny for the peace of mind.
Finn and Domino are quite a pair! Happy happy holidays to you and your pack!
