YEEEEESSSS!!! Oh my gosh that is as easy as a same-day return home after amputation surgery ever gets. Even after all that, he really did handle it like a champ, and you guys did too. Keep up the fantastic attitude and pawsitivity!!!!

Sometimes after the hospital meds are out of their system arou d day three, the pups may have a vit of a crash and pain meds need to be tweaked. Passing that along just in case....

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Day 4 post OP and he's still doing really good. He only pees in the morning though and hasn't pooped yet but I hope today is the day.
The pain meds seem to be really working which is such a relief. He's on Gabapentin, Meloxicam and Amoxi/Clav. I also give him Arnica which is for wound healing.
The week was rough with not much sleep and I had to go to work but it's so worth it since he's doing so well.

💩💩 will happen! The meds, etc ki d of get his potty out out of whack. When he does 💩 we want to know so we can celebrate! We love to celebrate 💩 around here-!
